"FROM PASTOR STEVE: RESURRECTION SUNDAY"

On Resurrection Sunday, Pastor Steve presented a monologue in character as the Beloved Disciple of the Gospel of John.  Vicky Simpson also gave a monologue of Mary Magdalene from John 20.

 

 

Our Resurrection Sunday celebration was even more special with Mary Nel Adkins present.  We were so blessed to have her join us despite all the physical challenges she faces.

Roxanna Varlack Corbett ministered in word and song this morning at the Harvest Center.  Powerful ministry!! We know one young man responded to the invitation indicating he wanted to follow the Lord!! Another lady mentioned receiving a spiritual break-through!!

Before the service, we baptized two young people!! The young man baptized today recently dedicated his life to the Lord when Dr. Bubba Cardin was ministering here at the Harvest Center.  After a feetwashing service, he spoke to Pastor Steve about joining the church!

On Sunday, March 24, 2013, we will have special guest speaker, Roxanne Varlack Corbett, here at the Harvest Center during the 10:30 AM service!

 

 

 

 

 

Roxanne Corbett has been working in ministry since the age of 14.  She served as a missionary to Japan for six years and has served as a worship leader, choir director, teacher and minister.  For the past year and a half, she has served as the Women's Ministry Pastor for the Peerless Road Church and in addition to this ministry, she also serves as the choir director for the Salvation Army Community Choir.  Her ministry focus is centered on bringing people together and empowering them to serve and reach lost and dying communities.  She has been married to her college sweetheart, Nathan, for

twenty-five years.  They have five daughters and two granddaughters.

We, here at the Harvest Center, will begin the New Year of 2013 by entering a season of seeking the Lord.  This will include fasting and prayer for 21 days.  We are also opening the church sanctuary on Tuesday nights from 6pm to 7pm and on Friday mornings from 6am to 7am.
