"POWERFUL AND ANOINTED"

Though I don't know how to speak this young mans language, his worship in these following songs in these videos are so powerful and annointed that I can feel the Holy Spirit radiating from his voice as he sings and the passion and fire he reveals in his face and movements as he sings!  My prayer is that these songs bless you as they have blessed me listening to them tonight.

My question is -- What kind of world would we live in if all of us had this fire and passion and anointing radiating from us the same as the fire, passion and anointing flows from this young man - Jotta A - from Brazil?

"COLLINSVILLE COMMUNITY 2012 CHRISTMAS SERVICE"

Our community Christmas service was a real success. Our people put their best foot forward and served so well.  The program allowed for five churches to participate, so the community had one of the largest crowds ever.  The Harvest Center was about two thirds full.  We estimate about 200 people in attendance.

We here at the Harvest Center would like to wish everyone a Very Merry Christmas and send our love and the saving grace and peace of Jesus Christ out to our Community and out to the entire world!!  May this Christmas season find you love, joy and peace!! And keep you and your family embraced in the comfort of the mighty arms of God and your life consumed by the power and fire of the Holy Spirit!!  And may your every footstep be guided and led by the Word of God throughout the Holy Scriptures!! ~~ Jesus is our bright light and as Christians, we need to be his willing vessels for his bright light to shine through in a world that is so dark!! My, how the world needs the bright light of Jesus! There are so many who are lost in this dark world, wandering around in the wilderness and can't find their way because they can't find the true bright light they need in their life to lead their way. If they can't find this bright light, they will not ever know the gifts and love that comes from the Father of Lights, which is Jesus Christ! If we are allowing the bright light of Jesus to shine through us, then that makes us his lights in this dark world because Jesus lives within those who truly believe and have accepted him as their Lord and savior.

++ James 1:17-18 says, Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. He chose to give us birth through the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of all he created.

~~ Let's praise our Father of Lights for we are his lights because our bright light, Jesus Christ, lives within us.

~~ Praise the Lord!! Jesus' light comes from his love for us!! Jesus fills us up with his love then he calls us to be his lights! As his lights, we are commanded, not asked, to spread his light with speed. Speed is the act or quality of acting or moving fast; to cause to move, go or proceed; to rush or to hurry. As lights, we are to be ready at any given time to preach the word of God and gospel of Jesus Christ!

~~In the next scriptures (2 Timothy 4:1-5), you will read, "I give you this charge..." -- The meaning of charge in this scripture is a command for us to rush or hurry to spread the light of Jesus Christ and preach the word of God! We have to because time is running out! And people are turning away or not listening to the truth of the gospel of Jesus and the word of God!

++ 2 Timothy 4:1-5 says, In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and in view of his appearing and his kingdom, I give you this charge. Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage -- with great patience and careful instruction. For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardships, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of your ministry.

~~ So come on lights of Jesus!! Let's speed that light!! Let his light shine in you to lead people to Jesus Christ!!

~~Whew!! Light is an illumination that makes things visible!! As lights of Jesus, we are to let his light shine to brighten up people around us and our surroundings with animation and joy!! This will cause others to want the light that we have!! So let your light shine everywhere you go!! Jesus gave his light to us as a gift to share!! We are to be the salt and light of the earth (world).

++ Jesus says in Matthew5:13-16, "You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses it saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men. You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on it's stand, and gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven."

~~ Now let me tell you how to obtain, which means to GET, and then keep the light of Jesus in you. First, we must accept Jesus as our Lord and savior and admit that we have sinned and ask God to forgive us to get the light of Jesus! After we accept Jesus as our savior, the Bible says that we become light and are to walk as children of his light.

++ Ephesians 5:8-17 says, For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light. (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) and find out what pleases the Lord. Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness but rather expose them. For it is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret. But everything exposed by the light becomes visible, for it is light that makes everything visible. This is why it is said, "Wake up, O sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you." Be very careful, then, how you live - not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord's will is.

~~ Now to keep the light of Jesus, we have to read and learn the Bible -- which is the Holy Word of God!

++ Psalm 119:105 says, The word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.

~~ Knowing the word of God helps us keep the light of Jesus living inside of us. It is very easy for the light to become dim in our life if we don't LIVE in the word.  I know because it has happened to me!! Satan does not like it when the light of Jesus is shining and flowing in our life! He likes to keep our light in his box so it can't shine from us to other people.  When we get away from the word of God, it makes it easier for Satan to steal our light, our joy, our happiness!! He uses confusion, hurt feelings, emotions, fear, sickness, busy lives etc.... to  detour us away from reading and living in the word of God.  When this happens, our light gets dimmer and dimmer until it is completely out!! Don't allow Satan to take your light and put it in his box!! He has NO authority or power to take it but what happens when we are not living in the word is we become weaker and weaker  from Satan's darts he throws at us to detour us away from the word of God and we give up and give him our light!!  We MUST live in the word of God so we can activate the authority we have over Satan and keep our light OUT of his box!! Have you allowed Satan to steal your light, your joy, your happiness that Jesus Christ gave to you?! 

~~ !! IF YOU HAVE, TAKE IT BACK NOW!! GET IN AND LIVE IN THE WORD OF GOD!!

~~ I don't know about everyone else in the world but I personally know that I want to keep the light of Jesus shining in my life!!  

~~ If we live in the Holy Word of God, we will always have the light of Jesus and never walk in darkness!!

++ In John 8:12 Jesus says, "I am the light of the world, whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."

~~ We all should know now that to follow Jesus and have his light, we MUST keep reading, learning and LIVING IN the Holy Word of God, the Bible, to never walk in darkness and always be a light of the Father of Lights!! Let us all worship him for this promise!!

++  2 Corinthians 4:1-7 says, Therefore, since through God's mercy we have this ministry, we do not lose heart. Rather, we renounced secret and shameful ways; we do not use deception, nor do we distort the word of God. Instead, by setting forth the truth plainly we commend ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God. And even if our gospel is hid, it is hid to those who are perishing. The god of this world (Satan) has blinded the minds of unbelievers; so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ who is the image of God. For we do not preach ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as servants for Jesus' sake. For God, who said, "Let light shine out of darkness", Made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ. But we have this treasures in jars of clay to show that this excellent power is from God and not from us.

~~ If you have read this and have not accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior, please do so tonight so the bright light of Jesus Christ can and will shine in your life!! Maybe you have allowed Satan to steal and put the light you once had in his box, please take this time to re-commit your life to Jesus Christ and the word of God so the bright light of Jesus will shine in your life again!! I know by experience that if we hide the light of Jesus and allow Satan to put our light Jesus gave us in his box, happiness and joy and passion and fire for Jesus can be lost to the extent of straying away which is a dangerous position to be in!! If this is you, please retrieve your light out of Satan's box right now!! If we don't allow our light to shine, the lost will NEVER know or see the light they need, can get and keep from Jesus and LIVING in the Word of

God!! The lost in the world needs to see the light of our Lord and savior, Jesus Christ!!

~~ COME ON!! BE A BRIGHT LIGHT FOR OUR FATHER OF LIGHTS, JESUS CHRIST!!

++ Isaiah 61:1-3:  The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord has anointed me to preach good tidings to you; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he (God) might be glorified.++

~~ Wow!! Yes!! Jesus is our Superhero! God sent his son Jesus to earth to die on the cross for our sins!! To take our pain and suffering!! To save us!!

~~ Praise the Lord!! Our Superhero, Jesus Christ, came to love us and to save us!! God created the sun, the moon, the earth and us! Then he sent his only son Jesus from heaven to earth to die for our salvation, to love us, to be our superstar, to be our friend if we will accept him in our life as our savior!! When we accept Jesus as our savior, we become his friend! Having Jesus as our superhero is way better than any other superhero because he loves us and he is real and he is alive!! Jesus is not a made up superhero! Jesus can be real if your life if you let him! He wants to be your friend!!

++ Jesus says in John 15:12-15:  "This is my commandment, That you love each other, as I love you. Greater love no man has than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.  You are my friends, if you do what I tell you to do. So I don't call you servants; because the servant does not know what the Lord does: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard from my Father I have explained to you."++

~~ Let's look at some meanings of some words:

The word SUPER means of the highest degree or power; very good; excellent; outstanding

~~The word HERO means someone of great courage or ability who is admired for their brave actions and noble qualities; someone who has done something great and heroic; the main person of a story

~~A SUPERHERO is a hero in a story that has power to fight against evil or a villain

~~A VILLAIN is someone who is involved or causes wickedness or evil or crime; the main evil character who strives to work against the Superhero

~~The Bible word for villain is adversary which is those who are actively against God, Jesus and the Bible.  The villain in the Bible is Satan also known as the devil. He is Jesus's villain which also makes Satan the villain of all Christians.

++ 1 Peter 5:8 reads: Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.++

~~ Now here is the exciting fact about our villain, Satan!! He has been defeated by our Superhero, Jesus Christ!! When Jesus died on the cross for us to save us from our sins, the act of God raising Jesus from the dead back to life 3 days later is what conquered the grave and defeated Satan.  When Jesus was nailed to the cross, he went through all that pain and suffering to save us from our sins.  When they layed Jesus in that tomb grave, there was absolutely nothing anyone could do to keep him in there once God raised him back to life! Then Satan had no authority whatsoever to keep Jesus out of Hell to claim the keys to the gates of hell back from Satan.

~~ We must understand that by Jesus defeating Satan as his villain, Jesus also defeated Satan as our villain. We just have to accept that truth and activate our faith by applying that authority and power over Satan in our own lives. Satan can still tempt us but it is up to us to resist that temptation and tell Satan NO with the power and authority Jesus won for us when he defeated Satan.  Jesus won that victory for us!! We just have to claim it and not give our victory back to Satan!!

~~ Remember!! The nails that held Jesus on the cross could not hold him down, the grave could not keep him in and Hell could not keep him out!!

++ Jesus says in Revelation 1:18: " I am he that lives who was dead; and look, I am alive forever. Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death."++

~~ Praise the Lord!! Jesus reigns!! His name is the highest name to ever be said!! The power of his love is everywhere. It is in the very breathe that we take! It is in the trees that provides the air we need to take that breathe!! The power of his love is in every move we make!! Jesus lives inside of those who will believe and accept him as their savior!! Please allow him in your life now!! If you want to accept Jesus as your savior, to be your Superhero!! If you want the power of his love flowing in your life!! If you want to claim the victory Jesus won for you!! Give Jesus your life now so you can go and show others the power of his love!! Humble yourself before the Lord Jesus Christ!! Let him be your Superhero!!

~~Dear Heavenly Father, I come to you now in the name of your son Jesus Christ! Lord, I praise you and glorify your Holy Name!! You are my savior, my healer, my superhero, my everything!! You are my friend and I thank you for that honor!! Lord, I humble myself before your Holy throne on behalf of all lost souls around the world that have not accepted you as their Lord and savior and on behalf of those who have never heard your name!! Lord Jesus, your name is the highest name ever said and you reign forever!! Lord, please give me opportunities to lead people to your salvation!! Let your light shine through me so bright that others only see you!!  Lord, please let the power of your love to flow in my life always! Lord, please forgive me for anything that I have said, done or thought that was against you or not pleasing to you.. both things I know of and those that I am not aware of. Make me aware of those unknown things so I can ask your forgiveness. I love you Lord Jesus and give you all of my glory, honor and praise!! In Jesus name I pray, Amen

"5/30/2012 KIDS CHURCH WAS GREAT"

The Harvest Center kicked off Wednesday Night Kid's Church last night, 05/30/2012!  It was great!  There were several to attend the service which included kids, teens and adults.  Everyone enjoyed the music, dance, and puppets!  The lesson taught was about how Jesus is our Superhero and how he defeated our villian, Satan!  During the altar call, several kids, teens and adults came to the altar and PRAISE THE LORD!! 1 teen gave her life to Jesus for salvation!! It was an awesome service and can't wait until next Wednesday night :o)

Dear Heavenly Father,  I come to you now in the name of your son Jesus Christ. Lord, I praise you and glorify your Holy name!  You are my savior, my deliverer, my healer, my everything!  Lord, I humble myself before your Holy throne on behalf of the seeds that the Harvest Center has planted! Lord, please send your favor and blessings upon these seeds by the power of the Holy Spirit to bring forth fruit for the harvest! Lord , please annoint all of our efforts to reach out to the lost souls and to the hurting .... Lord, to everyone! There is so many that need your touch and your love and your salvation.  Lord, please stop any efforts from Satan and his dark forces to hinder or tamper with the work you have put in our hearts and given us to do!! Satan, I bind and rebuke any holds or hindrances you have on the Harvest Center in the name of Jesus Christ!  Satan, you have no authority and command you with the blood of Jesus to let loose and give up any efforts you are doing or will do to stop or hinder the works being done at the Harvest Center. Lord, I thank you for your Holy Word and the power and the authority you have given us over Satan and his dark forces!  Lord, please forgive me for anything that I have said or done or thought that was against you or not pleasing to you! Both things that I know about and things that I am not aware of.  Lord, please keep me within your will and please give me the words to write and speak that you would have me to write or to say!  I love you Lord Jesus and give you all of my glory, honor and praise! In Jesus name I pray, Amen!!

Discouragement comes and there you are.

Lord, please send your Holy Spirit and fill the empty spaces in the hearts and spirits of your people!!  Lord, I am not understanding your direction right now....please don't let what you call me to do for you go in vain! Lord, show me ways to help those who are lost that have not felt your presence in their life yet and Lord, show me ways to help those who have lost your presence they used to feel! Lord, I don't understand .. Why? Please Lord, come quickly! Amen

"REMEMBERING A YEAR AGO TODAY"

Today, I pray for all of those who were affected by the April 27, 2011 tornado outbreak in Alabama and other places that were affected.  There is so much on TV, internet and radio remembering back to this day.  My family was affected that day. Thankfully we did not loose our as so many did on this day.  However we did loose our electricity for a week.  I will tell you one good thing that God put in mine and my family's life.  During this week, we became a closer nit family.  With no television and internet, we just sat and talked, we played board games .... we just shared the moment of closeness together!!  God always brings good things out of the midst of bad things and tragedies however it is up to us as individuals to recognize the good things that come from these times of trials and suffering.  We were also blessed with sharing food with our elderly neighbors and a pregnant young teenager in our neighborhood.  As the food thawed, we cooked it, fed our neighbors and ourselves.  During this time, I did not have to throw any food away .... it was all ate!!  God provided us all of our needs during this time and also used us to bless others.  The blessing of others was very much fullfilling!!  We all must remember that God only brings good things to his people who trust him and love him and serve him!!  He does things for our good and FOR HIS GLORY!! :o)

Lord, please put your comforting arms around them and touch them with your Holy Spirit!  I thank you Lord Jesus and  I give you all of my glory, honor and priase! In Jesus name I pray -- Amen!

What is Our Complete Responsibility to God?

(Ecclesiastes 12:13-14)   "Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil."

To fulfill our whole duty or complete responsibility to God we must:

Fear God first then Keep his commandments

Why do we fear God before we love Him with all our heart soul mind and strength (the first and greatest commandment)? Because, (Proverbs 1:7) "The fear of the LORD is the beginning of 1 knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction." (Psalms 14:1)   "…The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God…" 1 da'ath, (dah'-ath); (from yada'); knowledge, experiencing, encountering, awareness, the beginning or the principal thing required in fully knowing God.

I wonder if we are capable of keeping God’s commandments (obeying Him) being motivated only by our love for Him. David loved God and was so excited to bring the ark (the presence of God) back home. He made a brand new cart and very carefully and I’m sure very reverently, placed the ark of God on the cart. Then David and all Israel played and danced before the Lord with all their might. What a great display of their love and devotion that must have been. Then, as the cart moved on to the very smooth threshing floor of Chidon, the Oxen stumbled and Uzza, concerned about the welfare of the ark, put his hand out to steady it.

It would appear that the motive of David’s people was “right” at least in their own eyes but, when Uzza touched the ark and God’s anger was kindled and Uzza was struck dead. Why? ( 1 Chronicles 15:13NIV )   "It was because…We did not inquire of him about how to do it in the prescribed way." The KJV says “…we sought him not after the due order…” (1 Chronicles 13:12)   "And David was afraid of God that day, saying, How shall I bring the ark of God home to me?" The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowingGod and knowing what God expects of us. This is the questioned David should have asked before he moved the sacred ark which was to be carried only by the priests on staves of wood. David searched the scripture, being motivated by the fear of God, understanding that God was serious about His specific directions for us.  (1 Chronicles 15:12)   "And said unto them, Ye are the chief of the fathers of the Levites: sanctify yourselves, both ye and your brethren, that ye may bring up the ark of the LORD God of Israel unto the place that I have prepared for it."

As we study the history of God’s people it would appear that they never “got” the principle thing, to fear God. To fully know God we must be aware of those things that displease Him and the consequences of our disobedience. He very clearly informs us that: (1 Samuel 15:23) "…rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness (arrogance) is as iniquity and idolatry…" How do we acquire this knowledge? (Psalms 19:7)   "The law of the LORD is perfect, converting (returning to the starting point or the principal thing) the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple." God, in His wisdom, made His word quick and powerful so we could have knowledge of or fully know Him. He said: (Psalms 19:9) "The fear of the LORD is clean (everything connected with it is of a pure or holy tendency, adapted to cleanse the soul and to make it holy) , enduring for ever…" If we look for God, if we seek the knowledge of God, we will find it. By His word is: (Psalms 19:11) "…thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward…Who can discern his errors? Forgive my hidden faults. Keep your servant also from willful sins; may they not rule over me. Then will I be blameless, innocent of great transgression."

Our Abba Father has lovingly given us all we need to have knowledge of Him. He wants us to know of His awesome power so we will be assured that God is well and able to perform all that He has promised. He does marvelous works in our lives, to demonstrate His love for us, and what do we do?

(Psalms 78:9-11)   "The children of Ephraim…kept not the covenant of God, and refused to walk in his law…forgat his works, and his wonders…" David goes on about all the miraculous things that God did and: (Psalms 78:17-22) "…they sinned yet more against him by provoking the most High…And they tempted God in their heart… the LORD heard this, and was wroth: so a fire was kindled against Jacob, and anger also came up against Israel; Because they believed not in God, and trusted not in his salvation:"

God makes this very profound statement about His people as a warning to them and to us if we loose the fear of God . (Hosea 4:6)   "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee …" (Isaiah 5:13-14)   "Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge…Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it."

How does this affect us? We are living under grace; God’s grace covers every thing! If we feel this way does it sound like we have the knowledge of God? Consider this: (1 John 3:15) "Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him." So Satan says “You still have eternal life you’re under the grace of God, you won’t die!” But, what is the whole duty of man? 1. Fear God: because no murderer hath eternal life in Him. We must have knowledge that there are consequences to our sin.

2. Keep His commandments: (John 13:34) "A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another."

The same tempter is at work trying to keep us from our whole duty. We have access through grace, to an intimacy with God, enabling us to fully know Him. We must awaken ourselves to the fear of God. We must build up our selves on our most holy faith; we must pray in the Holy Spirit and let Him make intercession (on a regular basis) for us according to the will of God. (2 Corinthians 11:3)   "But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtlety, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ."

Remember our complete responsibility, our whole duty:

Fear God, keep His commandments

(Psalms 36:1-3)  "The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart, that there is no fear of God before his eyes.For he flattereth himself in his own eyes, until his iniquity be found to be hateful.The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit: he hath left off to be wise, and to do good."

(Proverbs 2:1-6)  "My son, if you accept my words and store up my commands within you, (hide my word in your heart)turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding,and if you callout for insight and cry aloud for understanding,and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure,then you will understand the fear of the LORD and find the knowledge of God.For the LORD gives wisdom, and from his mouth come knowledge and understanding."

(Isaiah 29:13-14) "Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:…behold, I will proceed to do a marvellous work among this people…for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid." (Ephesians 5:21) "Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God."phobos, to be put in fear; alarm or fright:--be afraid, + exceedingly, fear, terror.

In my last post, I said that I would share today who and what I was talking about in the poem God gave me to write yesterday. While sitting in my van waiting for my kids to get out of school today, I started thinking and praying again while watching the clouds move across the sky.  It is so amazing to me how God created everything!!  As I sat there watching and being still in God's presence, these words the Holy Spirit put into my mind so I picked up a pencil and piece of paper and started writing about who and what I wrote about in yesterdays poem .... Here is what the Holy Spirit gave me to write! :o)

The Holy Ghost and his fire is what I'm talking about.
There is power with these two, there is no doubt.

The Holy Ghost is always with us true but about his fire.
It will come down a blazing when we become one to acquire.

On the day of Pentacost, they were all in one accord.
To lose the Holy Ghost fire is something we can't afford.

Because within that fire we will see peoples' lives saved.
Entering true revival when the Holy Ghost fire is ablazed.

Also within his fire we will see deliverance and healing.
But a gentleman the Holy Ghost is, to receive this we must be willing.

To get out of our comfort zones and praise the fire down.
In our individual spiritual zone but as one we'll feel the fire come down.

The Holy Ghost fire is what we need to break Satan's fatal grip.
He has upon the souls of the lost, we need this spiritual trip.

The trip into the spiritual realm with the Holy Ghost fire ablazed.
We'll never want to lose it again because we'll be truly amazed.
